Warsaw's pączki rivalry
Pączki are Poland's jam doughnuts, rose jam being the classic, and on Tłusty Czwartek the whole country eats them. In Warsaw the rivalry is Blikle on Nowy Świat, open since 1869, against the Zagoździński workshop on Górczewska, where the Fat Thursday queue can last hours.
