Laulupidu, the song festival

The Song Festival puts tens of thousands of singers on one stage at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds every five years; the last was in July 2025. Since 1947 it has always closed with 'Mu isamaa on minu arm', and the crowd sings along, many in tears.
